Furthermore the unit is responsible for central FAU alumni management, design and realisation of top-notch FAU events, acquisition of scholarships for the program Deutschlandstipendium, sponsoring/advertising and recruiting of respective companies. S-Outreach provides consulting and (public) financial funding for graduates and scientists, who want to start up their own company. Our IP managers provides advisory service for inventors from the university and coordinate the patent application and prosecution process. In cooperation with a commercialization agency they also care about the patent utilizsation. As another important task the office manages the continuing education programme (i.e. extra-occupational master classes and seminars) of the University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Since 2018 WTT is also home of the Digital Tech Academy, a one year education programme for digital entrepreneurs. Additionally Digital Tech Academy provides assistance and content to lecturers at FAU with regard to digital entrepreneurship education.   Head: Dipl.-Ing. oec.
