Contents
Multiscale problems (fluid flows in porous media, heat transfer in composite materials). Development of macroscale models using averaging techniques (homogenization, volume averaging, numerical upscaling). Numerical methods for multiscale problems in space and time (multiscale finite elements, multiscale finite volumes, multipoint flux approximation, two-grid methods, time-splitting schemes).
