- Contents
- The lecture Communication Electronics deals with aspects of circuitry and signal processing of wireless communication systems, built up as so-called "Software Defined Radio” systems. A receiver of a simple telemetry system serves as an example, being examined starting from its antenna to the user data output. The focus lies on the structure and the characteristic of the receiver’s hardware as well as the algorithms for the reception of telemetry signals. A typical system is implemented using a miniaturized receiver and processing with the MATLAB-compatible Octave math program. The required software is provided to the students.
