Lectures:
Inhalt:
The course teaches how to design and develop high-performance query engines. It covers database query processing methods and algorithms, SIMD instructions, parallelization on many-core processors, distributed query processing, and out-of-memory processing.
Lernziele und Kompetenzen:
Students understand how query engines of modern database systems work. They can implement scalable and efficient algorithms for large-scale query processing and analytics.
