- Entry requirements: placement test result "Level 3" OR Level 2 completed (= 4SWS at Level 2 passed)
- Contents
- The main objective of this course is to assist students in making their writing more formal and more academic. To achieve this goal, coursework will include vocabulary expansion, formalizing grammar, as well as genre conventions. The types of writing practiced in this course include research proposals, argumentative writing, summaries of English texts, application letters, and creative writing. Academic as well as journalistic sources will be used as input. The final grade will consist of continuous assessment as well as a final exam.
Es wird empfohlen, im Zuge des Studiums einer Fremdsprache einmal die Übung "Kickstart: Fremdsprachen lernen" (auf UNIVIS unter Sprachenzentrum > Sprachbezogene Zusatzqualifikationen in Erlangen) zu besuchen.
