Inhalt:
Presentation of basic technical skills and requirements for safe working in chemical laboratories. This includes the safe handling of glassware as well as the assembly of glass-hardware for chemical experiments. In addition, basic work-skills are presented, such as distillation, chromatography etc. The theoretical background is also depicted.
Lernziele und Kompetenzen:
Students are able to:
assemble glass-hardware for chemical experiments.
understand and apply information about rudimental chemical working techniques (distillation, chromatography, extraction, etc.)
give detailed theoretical background to basic chemical experiments
