Title:
Microstructured Components for RF Systems Excercises

Prerequisites
Basics in Field theory and wave propagation, circuit design, material sciences, mechanics and mathematics.

Contents
  • Overview over three-dimensional structured RF components including microelectromechanical systems (RF MEMS), mechanical resonators, acoustic devices and metamaterials
  • technology (Silicon micromaching, LTCC...),

  • functionality (electrical, mechanical, acoustic principles),

  • applications (phase shifter, filters, antennas, systems....)

  • packaging (wafer level, packages, connections...)

  • calculation of electromagnetic and multiphysical properties

  • basics in design and mask layout.
