- Das Seminar beginnt bereits in der ersten Vorlesungswoche. Dieses Seminar wird auch als Bachelor-Hauptseminar im Vertiefungsmodul angerechnet.

- Das Seminar soll eine Einführung in das Althochdeutsche bieten, jedoch nicht in Form von Grammatiklektionen, sondern durch die intensive Lektüre kürzerer Texte aus dieser Literaturepoche, darunter natürlich die 'Highlights' wie das Hildebrandlied und die Merseburger Zaubersprüche.
