ECTS-Informationen:
Title:
Interfacing the Neuromuscular System: Laboratory

Credits: 5

Prerequisites
Recommended: Basic biology and neurophysiology, Computer programming (Matlab and/or Python), Biosignal processing.

Contents
During this laboratory, the students will have the opportunity to gather data from a non-invasive neural interface (high-density grids of EMG electrodes) during natural movements. This dataset will then be analysed and processed by the students. The students will also record kinematic and force data in synchrony with the neural interface. The final goal is to find a way to associate kinetics, kinematics and EMG signals for a reliable neural interface in human subjects.
