- Das Kolloquium dient dazu, im kleinen Kreis aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse und -vorhaben zu diskutieren.
Jeder Wissenschaftler am Lehrstuhl sollte von Zeit zu Zeit vortragen oder seine Studierenden vortragen lassen (Studienarbeiter, Diplomarbeiter, Hilfskräfte). Die Vorträge können informell gehalten werden und dürfen ausdrücklich auch unausgereifte Ideen präsentieren. Die Idee ist, dass intensiv diskutiert wird. Die Zeit ist, um die regelmäßige Teilnahme zu erleichtern, auf eine Stunde beschränkt.

- The purpose of the Seminar is to discuss up-to-date research results and projects in a small group. Each scientist in the lab should speak from time to time or should have students speak (on theses, or lab work). Presentations can be informal and may present preliminary results. The idea is to have extented discussions. To allow regular participation, the time slot is limited to one hour.
