| Klinisches Data Warehouse - Datenintegrationsplattform für die Forschung In Kooperation mit dem Universitätsklinikum Erlangen wurde ein Data Warehouse-System (DWH) etabliert, das zunächst mit dem Fokus Medizincontrolling aufgebaut wurde. Mit Hilfe des Data Warehouse wurden mittlerweile Daten aus über 30 Quellsystemen erschlossen und im Rahmen der Vorgaben des Datenschutzes zusammengeführt. Auf diesem Pool basiert eine Vielzahl vordefinierter Berichte, sowie die Möglichkeit der dynamischen, interaktiven Auswertung auf der Basis von OLAP-Würfeln. Seit 2009 trägt das Data Warehouse damit wesentlich zur Durchführung der Kostenträgerrechnung am Universitätsklinikum bei. Im Gegensatz zu klassischen DWH-Installationen richtet sich das Projekt auf ein klinisches Data Warehouse aus, das neben der betriebswirtschaftlichen Anwendung insbesondere auf die Erschließung der Daten für medizinische und wissenschaftliche Zwecke abzielt. Schwerpunkte werden dabei auf die Präsentation und Visualisierung von Daten gesetzt. Zu diesem Zweck wurden für Ad-hoc-Recherchen, Kohortenvordefinition und systematisches Datenmanagement unmittelbar durch medizinische Forscher die Datenintegrations- und Abfrageplattform i2b2 der Harvard Medical School sowie die von der tranSMART Foundation betreute tranSMART-Plattform, welche auch die Integration von Omics-Daten unterstützt, in die Erlanger Datenintegrationsplattform für die Forschung integriert. | Project manager:
