The students who successfully take this module should:
understand the physics of fluid flow at the micro-scale
assess the viability of miniaturizing a fluid mehcanical process
have an overview of microfluidic applications and devices
know how to generate droplets in a microdevice
assess the efficiency of a micromixer
know how to drive fluid and separate particles with an electric field
model and simulate microflows
understand challenges towards nanofluidics
