Contents
This seminar is primarily intended for all Master- and Lehramtsstudents who wish to prepare and discuss their MA theses or Zulassungsarbeiten. All students wishing to be supervised by me should attend this course.
When not discussing student projects, this seminar aims to investigate the use of language in political discourse. The focus will be on the topic of climate change and environmental issues as well as on populist language. This will involve discussion of such concepts as framing, presupposition, metaphor etc.

Recommended literature
Participants could take a look at this year’s volume of Zeitschrift für Anglistik und Amerikanistik 2019(3) on Brexit.
