- Das Aufbauseminar Literature gehört in folgenden Studiengängen jeweils zu folgenden Modulen:

- Aufbauseminar Literature is intended to complement and deepen the knowledge acquired in Grundseminar Literature. The seminar is an introduction to literary theory in which theoretical knowledge is applied critically to exemplary primary texts.
Please note that the Aufbaukseminar therefore entails a relatively heavy reading load - in addition to the primary texts, you will have to read theoretical articles. You should therefore have finished reading Titus Andronicus and Dracula by the beginning of summer term.

- William Shakespeare, Titus Andronicus. Ed. Jonathan Bate. London: Arden Shakespeare, 1995 or 2018. (Arden edition) - no other edition will do!
Bram Stoker, Dracula (any edition) Peter Barry, Beginning Theory: An Introduction to Literary and Cultural Theory. Manchester: Manchester UP, 2002. (recommended)
