Development of a digital lighting middleware (Lumatix)

Lumatix is a spin-off of the chair for computer graphics at the university of Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Based upon recent research results, Lumatix will provide software solutions for digital lighting simulations in the 3D digital content creation market.

Special focus lies upon the realisation of real-time global illumination techniques that allow clients to profit from the enhanced quality and drastically lower compution times.

The project is currently funded by the Exist-Gründerstipendium. The chair of computer graphics functions acts as mentor and technical advisor.
