Improved 3-D Reconstruction of Talbot-Lau Data

In the past few years, several interferometric X-ray setups emerged, one of which is the Talbot-Lau interferometer. The Talbot-Lau interferometer allows to measure the classical X-ray absorption, and additionally the differential phase shift and the so-called dark-field signal, which provides information about the sample microstructure. Attenuation, differential phase shift and dark-field show mutually independent material properties, but yet their signals are correlated to a certain degree. The goal of this project is to leverage these correlations to improve 3-D reconstruction of image data.
