- Die Vorlesung wendet sich an Studierende des Maschinenbaus und der Werkstoffwissenschaften als Vertiefungsfach oder Wahlfach im Hauptstudium. Das Skript wird rechtzeitig zum Download bereitgestellt. Das Passwort wird im Rahmen der Vorlesung mitgeteilt.

- Prerequisites
- This lecture is suitable for students of technical manufacturing and material technologies as a main course or as an optional course in their main studies.
The oral examination lasts 15 minutes for the optional course and 20 minutes for the main course.
- Contents
- The aim of the lecture is to present the different machines for metal forming and their specific parameters. The lecture centres on hammer, fly presses, mechanical and hydraulic presses. Furthermore the proceeding for laying out tools in metal forming will be discussed. This also includes considerations about stress, manufacturing and possibilities for wear reduction of tool elements.
