- Contents
- The lecture deals with the stages of economic integration; governance and fiscal federalism; rules and European institutions. Current challenges and threats to economic integration are also discussed.
Participating students
-use economic principles to analyze and assess the effects of different stages of economic integration on economic performance. -understand how effects of national economic policies change under conditions of economic integration.
-learn about the potentialbenefits of economic policy cooperation in an integrated economy.
-acquire knowledge of the assignment of responsibilities for economic and fiscal policies in Europe and of the European institutions.
-obtain insights on current challenges and threats to economic integration in Europe.
