- The cultivation of excellence - particularly via 21st century skills like creativity, critical thinking, and communication - has emerged as an international priority. In the wake of pervasive trends that require pedagogical intervention, namely the achievement gap and transparency problem in education, so, too, has the concept of resilience materialized as a crucial factor for academic success and well-being.
But what does it mean to be resilient? Is it something that can be nurtured? And if so, what would an effective, practical approach to resilience look like?
In this seminar, students will identify working concepts of resilience; study its application in gifted education and talent development;
as well as explore the function of resilience in pedagogical design and workplace innovation.
