- Prerequisites / Organisational information
- This course is aimed at students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Maschinenbau).
Entry requirements: placement test result "Level 3" OR Level 2 completed (= 4SWS at Level 2 passed)
- Contents
- This course has been conceptualized primarily for Industrial Engineering (IP) and Mechanical Engineering students who are currently at the C1 level. Students will learn how to write a technical, qualitative article, which is especially helpful for students who wish to write their Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis in English. Further, particular emphasis is placed on extemporaneous, elaborative speech and presentation skills. Students are required to hold a presentation at the end of the course. All language skills are addressed within an engineering framework.
Es wird empfohlen, im Zuge des Studiums einer Fremdsprache einmal die Übung "Kickstart: Fremdsprachen lernen" (auf UNIVIS unter Sprachenzentrum > Sprachbezogene Zusatzqualifikationen in Erlangen) zu besuchen.
