Contents
Advanced imaging techniques and new clinical applications for MR, CT and PET,
including
  • High-speed and motion insensitive MRI

  • Quiet MRI

  • MRI in neuropsychiatry

  • Quantitative MR

  • New clinical applications in imagng

  • Spectral and quantitative CT

  • sub-second CT

  • new indications for PET-CT and PET-MR

  • Radiation Therapy planning with CT and MR

Contents and learnings:
This seminar course deals with advanced techniques and new clinical applications for medical imaging devices, in particular MR, CT and PET. Contents include high-speed and motion insensitive MRI, quiet MRI, quantitative MRI and CT, sub-second CT, new indication for PET-CT and PET-MRI, iterative reconstruction methods in CT and MRI as well as new clinical applications in imaging. Each participant is encouraged to contribute a short scientific presentation of a topic of his/her choice fitting into the agenda of this course. Your learnings include state-of-the-art imaging techniques seen from a clinical, economical and scientific perspective. The course should enable you to present and discuss technological and scientific content, linking technologies to medical and clinical needs.
