- In diesem Seminar werden an Hand von Vorträgen, die von Studenten auszuarbeiten und vorzutragen sind, die neusten Entwicklungen aus dem
Gebiet der Kunststoffanwendungen vorgestellt. Die Literatur zum Thema wird vom Betreuer ausgegeben. Der Zweck des Seminars ist die
selbständige Ausarbeitung eines wissenschaftlichen Referats zu einem vorgegebenen Thema. Zudem sollen Erfahrungen im möglichst freien
Vortrag eines aus der Literatur erarbeiteten Wissenstoffs erworben werden. Im Anschluß an den Vortrag (30 Minuten) steht der Vortragende
Rede und Antwort in einer Diskussionsrunde (15 Minuten). Zum Vortrag ist eine schriftliche Zusammenfassung anzufertigen, die die wesentlichen Abbildungen enthält und die benutzte Literatur aufführt.

- Within this advanced seminar class the actual developments in the field of applications of polymer materials is presented by means of reports, elaborated by the students. Literature concerning the theme is obtained from the tutor.
The purpose of the seminar lies in the gathering of experience in performing a report about a scientific theme. Furthermore the student should gain experience in giving a speech on a field of knowledge extracted from literature. After the report (45 minutes) the student has to justify his statements by a 15 minutes lasting discussion. Additionally a paper has to be handed out with the figures from the transparences and the literature used.
