- Eines der gravierendsten Probleme heutiger Unternehmen ist die nachträgliche Integration unabhängig entwickelter Anwendungssysteme. Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) dient der prozessorientierten Integration heterogener, autonomer Anwendungssysteme. Dabei bieten Enterprise Integration Patterns bewährte Lösungsansätze für typische Integrationsprobleme. Ebenso dienen sie als Vokabular, um Integrationslösungen zu beschreiben und zu visualisieren.
Das Seminar richtet sich an alle Bachelorstudenten, die mehr über Enterprise Integration erfahren wollen. Die Teilnehmer werden sich im Rahmen des Seminars mit den verschiedenen Enterprise Integration Patterns vertraut machen und die Möglichkeiten der verschiedenen Patterns herausarbeiten. Die Patterns sollen anschließend mit Hilfe von Apache Camel auf exemplarische Probleme angewendet werden.

- Enterprise application integration (EAI) is a framework for process-oriented integration of heterogeneous systems and applications. To this end, enterprise application patterns provide matured solutions for typical integration problems. Also, they can be used as a vocabulary to describe and to visualize integration solutions.
The seminar is addressed to all bachelor students, who want to know more about enterprise integration. The participants will familiarize themselves with enterprise integration patterns and identify the distinctions between different patterns. Additionally, they will apply these patterns to example scenarios using Apache Camel.
