Prerequisites / Organisational information
Lecture information theory.

Contents
The lecture provides a deep understanding of information theory by explaining the advanced topics of this subject. This will include Jensen's Inequality, Markov Chains, Entropy Coding using Arithmetic Coding as well as the Context Tree Weighting Algorithm and the Burrows-Wheeler Transform. Also, Rate-Distortion Theory, high-dimensional spheres and MIMO-channels are discussed in this course.
