- Contents
- Virginia Woolf is looked upon as one of the most important representatives of literary modernism in England. In this seminar, we will analyze Woolf’s novels Mrs Dalloway (1925), To the Lighthouse (1927), Orlando(1928) und The Waves(1931) against the backdrop of both fin-de-siècle and early 20th-century aesthetics. We will also focus on the rise of the psychological novel and the role of art in Woolf’s narratives.
