  • turbulence measurements (hot wire anemometry, laser-Doppler anemometry)

  • transport equations (Reynolds stresses, turbulence kinetic energy, turbulence dissipation rate)

  • turbulence closures (energy equation: eddy viscosity, Prandtl-Kolmogorov formula, dissipation rate equation: two-point correlation, Kolmogorov micro-scale)

  • two-equation model of turbulence

  • wall-bounded flows

  • free shear flows.
