- Gesetzliche Grundlagen, Partikelabtrennung (Zyklon, Filter, Wäscher), Partikelmesstechnik, Gasförmige Schadstoffe: Zusammensetzung und Entfernung, Absorption, Adsorption, Ionenaustausch, Membranverfahren, reaktive Verfahren (Verbrennung), Kraftwerksabgase,
Wasserreinhaltung: Art der Verunreinigungen, Grenzwerte, Abtrennung (Adsorptions- und Membranverfahren)

- Air pollution control: administrative regulation, particle removal (cyclone, filter, scrubber), particle characterization, gaseous pollutants: composition and removal, absorption, adsorption, ion exchange, membrane processes, thermal treatment, power plant flue gas; water pollution control: composition of pollutants, permissible concentrations, separation (adsorption and membrane processes)
Slides and lecture notes in English language; course in English or German depending on the audience
