- Inhalt

- ECTS-Informationen:
- Title:
- Exercises to "Numerical Simulation of Electromechanical Transducers"
- Credits: 2,5
- Prerequisites
- Exercises: "CAE of Sensors and Actuators"
Recommended is the Lecture "CAE of Sensors and Actuators
- Contents
- In the exercise to the lecture "Numerical Simulation of Electromechanical Transducers" the students will be trained in performing simulations of industrial sensors and actuators. By means of complex industrial applications, the students will learn to set up the computational models and perform the simulations in COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB. The exercise will also discuss how to handle geometric as well as material nonlinearities that arise in practical problems. The students solve relevant industrial coupled field problems (mechanics, magnetics, electrostatics and acoustics) on the computer.
Learning Target:
The students will learn to perform complex numerical simulations as they arise in practice.
