Prerequisites / Organisational information
  • The experiments can be carried out starting from the 21th of Oktober 2013.
  • The last date for registration is the 8th of November 2013.

  • The experiments should be finished by January 24th 2014.

  • The reaction engineering practical (advanced) is composed of a two day experiment. It is most preferably offered in the winter semester for the 7th study semester.

  • The experiments are to be carried out in groups of two. Groups of three require special consent from the head of practical and will only be accepted for exceptional cases.

  • A safety instruction exercise is to be completed before experiments can be carried out. This safety instruction will take place in the lab for practical.

  • Each experiment is preceded by a discussion with the teaching assistant. Here the students have to demonstrate that they have learned the basics and the necessary practical details of the experiment, such that a smooth execution of the experiment can be expected. The teaching assistant also explains the conditions and the specific settings to be used in the experiment.

-Jakob Albert: Gewinnung von Ameisensäure aus verschiedenen Ligninen.
-Matthias Bahlmann: Bestimmung der CO2 Kapazität avon funktionalisierten Lösungsmitteln in einem Druckautoklav.
-Jonas Debuschewitz: Dehydrierung von Butan mit salzmodifizeirten geträgerten Katalysatoren.
-Heiko Klefer: Edelmetallbeladung sphärischer Adsorbentien und deren Anwendung in der Katalyse.
-Matthias Kusche: Methanol Reforming bzw. Wasser-Gas-Shift-Reaktion katalysiert von Salz veränderten Katalysatoren.
-Albert Machoke: Catalytic cracking of Hydrocarbons.
-Julia Messner: Synthese und Anwendung Brönstedtacider Ionischer Flüssigkeiten. (to be done before Jan 2014).
-Michael Müller: Bestimmung der Hydrierkinetik von Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers.
-Tobias Müller: Chromkatalysierte selektive Tetramerisierung von Ethen (Registration untill 28.10)
-Andreas Schönweiz: Gasphasen-Hydroformylierung im kontinuierlichen Betrieb. (Registration from 4.11.)
-Simon Walter: Selektive Hydroformylierung technischer Einsatzgemische mit SILP-Katalysatoren.
-Ameen Shahid: Ameen Shahid: N2O Zersetzung.
