- Prerequisites / Organisational information
- Diese Vorlesung richtet sich sowohl an technisch ausgerichtete Sudiengänge als auch an "Nebenfächler" aus naturwissenschaftlichen Disziplinen. Die Vorlesung soll insbesondere Studierende ansprechen, die ihre Kenntnisse auf dem Abfallsektor spezialisieren möchten. Die Vorlesung wird in Deutsch gehalten. Das Manuskript ist in digitaler Form (pdf) in deutscher Sprache verfügbar.

- Geschichte der Abfallwirtschaft
Umweltpolitik, Abfallrecht und Abfallgesetzgebung Abfallarten und Abfallaufkommen (regional / bundesweit) Entsorgungskonzepte (Sammlung, Transport, Umladung) Deponietechnik (Aufbau, Betrieb, Abdichtung) Entgasung und Entwässerung von Deponiekörpern Prozesse, Apparate und Maschinen in der Abfallaufbereitung
Lernziele und Kompetenzen:
Vermitteln der z.T. sehr komplexen Zusammenhänge in der heutigen Abfallwirtschaft Effizientes Arbeiten mit Regelwerken aus der Abfallgesetzgebung Aneignung von gebräuchlichen Arbeitsmethoden im Abfallmanagement Förderung der Fachkompetenz in genehmigungsrechtlichen Fragen innerhalb der Abfallwirtschaft

- This lecture is directed at students of technical as well as scientific degrees (e.g. as secondary subject). It particulary appeals to students, who want to specialize their knowledge in waste industry. The lecture language is German. The lecture notes are available in digital form (pdf, German).

- The lectures give an insight into today´s waste management and technology.
Starting from the waste legislation (Technical Regulations
of Waste and Settlement Waste) the kinds and amounts of waste and
their chronological development in typical cities will be reviewed.
These developments allow conclusions on the effectiveness of
the legislative measures to be drawn. Different disposal concepts
with their necessary logistics will be explained and compared with one
another. A particular chapter is focused on the disposal technology. Fundamentals of
disposal technology will be presented as the basis of planning, construction
and the qualified operation of disposals. The technological processes and the machines and technical equipment,
which are needed for waste treatment are also dealt with.
