  • Index concepts, index reduction

  • Semidiscretization for partial differential-algebraic equations, index influence, convergence properties

  • Coupling algorithms

Lernziele und Kompetenzen:

Students

  • have critical understanding and practical handling of algorithmic approaches for models with partial and differential-algebraic equations, especially, the ability to assess the stability and the convergence of a numerical method,

  • are able to implement methods with their own or given software and to evaluate the results critically.
