Demonstration of chromatographic techniques in laboratory: HPLC, IGC, HS-

Methods of X-ray diffraction
Characterization of porous materials
Thermal analytic methods
Mass spectrometry
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)
NMR techniques incl. liquid state NMR, solid state NMR and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
Particle sizing techniques based on light scattering
Non-linear optical techniques for interfacial analysis
Lernziele und Kompetenzen:
The lecture enables the students to get an overview about the methods used in
chemical analysis and structure determination such as chromatographic,
spectroscopic and thermal analysis methods as well as techniques used in the
characterization of surface area and size of particles.
