Inhalt:

This course teaches advanced methods of software engineering. Topics covered are:

  • Test-driven development

  • Kanban and lean software development

  • Continuous delivery incl. continuous deployment

Students form teams and are assigned to one semester-long project. Each team is coached by one Mitarbeiter of the professorship.

The course builds on the learnings from ADAP and AMOS. Both courses are preconditions for participating in AMSE. Excellent programming skills are required.

AMSE projects, like final theses, support the group’s development work. Thus, students need to sign a contributor agreement, see https://wp.me/pDU66-2pd. Ideally (but not required), students like the project so much that they want to do a startup with us.

  • Understand concepts and tools of continuous delivery and test-driven development

  • Gain experience with continuous delivery in the context of a development project
