ANMELDUNG
Eine rechtzeitige Kursanmeldung ist obligatorisch (bis spätestens 20. Oktober 2017, bitte Anmeldephasen ab 26. September beachten) online über StudOn

Teilnahmeberechtigte Studierende sollen sich möglichst während der ersten Anmeldephase im Zeitraum vom 26. September bis 2. Oktober anmelden. Die Plätze in den einzelnen Kursen werden ggf. im Losverfahren vergeben. Der Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung spielt in dieser Phase keine Rolle. In der zweiten Anmeldephase ab dem 4. Oktober werden Anmeldungen für Restplätze in der Reihenfolge des Eingangs bearbeitet.

TEILNAHMEVORAUSSETZUNGEN

• Studium Rechtswissenschaft (Staatsexamen) ab 3. Fachsemester

• Einstufungstestergebnis (Englisch für Hörer aller Fakultäten) mindestens Level 2
  

Studierende, die im Einstufungstest weniger als Level 2 erreicht haben, dürfen im folgenden Fall ebenfalls an diesem Kurs teilnehmen:

• Introduction to Basic Academic English (Level 1) bestanden

ANWESENHEIT
Um diesen Kurs erfolgreich abzuschließen ist eine regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme erforderlich. Im Kurs besteht daher Anwesenheitspflicht gemäß den Richtlinien der Universität. Wie oft Sie im Unterricht fehlen dürfen, und welche Leistungen Sie während des Kurses erbringen müssen um zur Abschlussprüfung zugelassen zu werden, erfahren Sie spätestens in der ersten Sitzung.

Beachten Sie bitte, dass u.U. nicht alle prüfungsrelevanten Kursmaterialien über StudOn zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Kursteilnehmer sind grundsätzlich selber dafür verantwortlich, versäumte Sitzungen selbständig nachzuholen, fehlende Kursmaterialien zu besorgen, und ggf. Pflichtaufgaben nachzuholen.

PRÜFUNG
Die Prüfung besteht aus zwei Teilen:

• Die Abschlussklausur (schriftliche Prüfung, 60 Minuten, 80% der Gesamtnote) findet für alle Gruppen am Samstag, 3. Februar 2018 um 8:30 Uhr im Großen Hörsaal, Bismarckstr. 1a statt.

• Teilnehmer müssen einen Aufsatz zu einem im Kurs behandelten Thema schreiben (20% der Gesamtnote). Die Aufgabe wird am Mittwoch, 20. Dezember 2017 auf StudOn bereitgestellt, Abgabetermin ist Sonntag, 7. Januar 2018.

Eine Prüfungsanmeldung über mein campus ist zwingend erforderlich (Anmeldezeitraum: Montag, 20.11.2017 (0.01 Uhr) bis Freitag, 08.12.2017 (12.00 Uhr)). Die Prüfungsnummer ist 30153.

LEISTUNGSNACHWEIS
Studierende, die diesen Kurs erfolgreich abschließen, erfüllen die Mindestanforderung der Prüfungsordnung (§ 24 Abs. 2 JAPO, Nachweis der Fremdsprachenkompetenz) und erhalten eine entsprechende Bescheinigung zur Vorlage beim Landesjustizprüfungsamt, sofern diese noch nicht aufgrund einer bestandenen Prüfung in einer anderen Sprache ausgestellt wurde.

WIEDERHOLUNGSMÖGLICHKEIT / FOLGEN EINER NICHT BESTANDENEN PRÜFUNG
Dieser Kurs wird jedes Semester angeboten. Eine nicht bestandene Prüfung muss wiederholt werden. Teilnehmer, die die Prüfung mit der Gesamtnote 5,0 nicht bestehen (= weniger als 50% der Punkte), müssen den gesamten Kurs wiederholen. Teilnehmer, die die Prüfung mit der Gesamtnote 4,7 nicht bestehen (= mindestens 50% der Punkte), dürfen - im Ermessen des Kursleiters / der Kursleiterin - die Prüfung zum nächsten regulären Termin (am Samstag, 7. Juli 2018) wiederholen, ohne den Kurs noch mal besuchen zu müssen. Teilnehmer müssen in diesem Fall unbedingt einen Termin mit ihrem/r Kursleiter/in vereinbaren, um die nicht-bestandene Prüfung einzusehen und zu besprechen. Wird die Prüfung in solchen Fällen nicht zum nächstmöglichen Termin abgelegt, muss ggf. der gesamte Kurs wiederholt werden. Eine Wiederholung zur Notenverbesserung ist ausgeschlossen.

ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance and active participation are required in order to successfully complete this course, therefore attendance is compulsory. Your teacher will inform you in the first session about any compulsory tasks that need to completed during the course as a prerequisite for being admitted to the final exam as well as the maximum number of classes you may miss. Please be aware that not all materials relevant for the exam will necessarily be posted on StudOn and that participants are responsible for making sure that they catch up on any missed classes, acquire any additional materials and complete and/or submit any compulsory tasks.

ASSESSMENT
This course is assessed on the basis of a written exam (translation), a translation done in your own time and an oral exam (interpreting). Your tutor will provide you with details of the exam and any other assessment requirements in the first week of the course. Registration for the exam via mein campus is necessary (registration period: Monday, 20th November (00:01) - Friday, 8th December (12:00)). The exam number is 30158.

REPEATING THE COURSE
We expect to offer this course again in the summer semester 2018. Students who fail the exam and wish to retake it may do so at the end of the next semester without having to retake the whole course, providing they obtain the grade 4,7. Students who fail with the grade 5,0 must retake the whole course before being allowed to attempt the exam again.

Teilnehmer, die die Prüfung mit der Gesamtnote 5,0 nicht bestehen (= weniger als 50% der Punkte), müssen den gesamten Kurs wiederholen. PRÜFUNG
Die Abschlussklausur ist eine schriftliche Prüfung. Sie dauert 90 minutes und findet am Ende des Semesters statt.
LEISTUNGSNACHWEIS
Studierende, die diesen Kurs erfolgreich abschliessen erfüllen die Mindestanforderung der Prüfungsordnung (Nachweis der Fremdsprachenkompetenz) und erhalten neben dem Leistungsnachweis auch eine entsprechende Bescheinigung zur Vorlage beim Landesjustizprüfungsamt.

Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches:

Die Einführung in die türkische Rechtssprache wird in türkischer Sprache gehalten. Daher ist die Kenntnis der türkischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift notwendig. Einstufungstests sind nicht vorgesehen. Der Kurs richtet sich an Studierende ab dem 3. Semester. Am Ende der Veranstaltung wird eine Abschlussklausur gestellt. Ziel ist die Erlangung des Leistungsnachweises über die fachspezifische Fremdsprachenausbildung für Juristen gem. § 24 Abs. 2 JAPO (2003). Eine Wiederholungs- und Vertiefungsveranstaltung wird im nächsten Semester stattfinden.
