- Beschreibung der Arbeit:
- Basically each interaction with a computer system causes multiple system calls. Using virtual machine introspection (VMI), it is possible to trace in the host system calls from a guest virtual machine (VM). So, if the guest comes with a huge database of fingerprints of events, it is possible for the host to learn what is happening inside the guest.
The goal of this work is to extend the system call fingerprint engine that is developed at the i1 lab. Furthermore, the fingerprint database shall be extended and the fingerprints shall be evaluated.
