KIB - Congnitive Industrial image processing

The aim of this project is creating a network for technology transfer for advanced training and global exchange of knowledge in the area of cognitive industrial image processing. This project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs.
Current approaches to introduce cognitive image processing through transfer or training processes consider barely technological aspects and focus too little on potential users, like commercial or industrial partners. Thus one of the main targets of KIB project is to develop a platform that should combine a knowledge network focused on digital image processing applications with an industrial network oriented on technology transfer. In cooperation with Vision Academy GmbH Erfurt this platform will be used as basis for establishment of a network for technology and knowledge transfer.
To establish the knowledge network part of the transfer platform is our task. Therefore we provide informations of up-to-date scientific image processing methods such as parallel computing in hardware and software or solutions for design and implementation of adequate architectures in image processing systems.
