- This class will focus on topics connected to the United States. It will cover as many different fields as possible – from historic figures such as Benjamin Franklin to contemporary topics; from politics to science.
Students will pick from a range of topics provided by the instructor or suggest a topic they themselves are interested and write a journal article about this topic. They will share their thoughts on the chosen topic with the class in a brief presentation.
At the end of the semester, every participant will receive a pdf version of all (corrected) articles produced in the course of the semester.
Skills include:
article writing;
peer review;
short presentation.
