Contents
The emphasis of the seminar in this semester is "Distributed Audio and Acoustic Signal Processing".

The seminar will include, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  • Wireless acoustic sensor networks

  • Ad hoc microphone arrays

  • Distributed audio coding

  • Distributed array processing

  • Distributed sound localization

ECTS information:
Prerequisites
This seminar requires a good understanding of basic principles in signal processing. Furthermore, it is beneficial to have some background in one of the more specific topics offered by the International Audio Laboratories Erlangen.

Contents
In this seminar, various applications withing audio and acoustic signal processing as well as central techniques are studied. The specific topics will be announced at the beginning of each semester from the respective leading instructor.
