- Inhalt
- The course focuses on enhancing spoken communication and presentation skills. Students will also have the opportunity to improve their listening skills. Selected listening materials such as film clips, video clips and TV interviews correlated to the discussion topics will be incorporated when appropriate. Furthermore, students will be asked to read an assortment of short texts from different genres, which in turn will serve as an incentive for further discussion. The various resources will heighten awareness of styles and register.
Speaking activities will include small group discussion on a wide range of topics. In addition students will engage in debates on various controversial issues. All students will be required to give a 10-minute presentation once during the semester. Students are required to attend regularly, they must not miss more than two classes.
Zwischenmodul Language (LAG); Freier Bereich (Lehramt UfE); BA Soft Skills course (Schüsselqualifikation).
Es wird empfohlen, im Zuge des Studiums einer Fremdsprache einmal die Übung "Kickstart: Fremdsprachen lernen" (auf UNIVIS unter Sprachenzentrum > Sprachbezogene Zusatzqualifikationen in Erlangen) zu besuchen.
