- No registration reguired. No prerequisites. Just bring enthusiasm and the willingness to read and write in English.
- Inhalt
- The Creative Writing Workshop aims to offer a supportive, stimulating, and inspiring atmosphere where participants will write fiction and discuss topics pertinent to its production, including:
• What makes a character compelling and sympathetic and how do we draw characters that readers will want to spend time with?
• What settings do we enjoy entering in literature and how do we make ours irresistible or at least vivid for our readers?
• How does desire lead to conflict and what sorts of conflicts drive the stories we want to tell?
We will explore these ideas and others, as determined by the participants, through writing exercises, discussions, and giving and receiving feedback on each others’ writing. Based on the interests of the group, we could plan a reading or literary journal (online or in print) to showcase the work produced.
