- Ein Vertreter des Industrie berichtet über Themengebiete der Pulvermetallurgie: Pulvercharakterisierung, Pulverherstellverfahren (einschließlich Einstellung der Mikrostruktur, Herstellverfahren für Submicron-, Nano- und amorphe Pulver, Composit-Pulver), Pulverkompaktierung (Theorie und Verfahrenstechnik) und Sintern (Theorie und Verfahrenstechnik für Fest-Phasen-Sintern, Flüssig-Phasen-Sintern, aktiviertes Sintern). Ergänzt wird die Vorlesung durch eine Exkursion zu einschlägigen Firmen in Bayern und Tirol.

- The lecture course covers the four topics powdermetallurgy in comparison with other shaping techniques, powder characterisation, powder fabrication (including microstructure control, submicron-, nano- and amorphous-powder, composite powder), powder compaction (theory and technology) and sintering (theory and technology of solid and liquid phase sintering, enhanced sintering).
