- Beschreibung und Bilanzierung thermischer Trennprozesse, Anwendung auf die folgenden Trennverfahren (Unit-Operations) :
Absorption, Adsorption, Chromatographie, Kristallisation, Destillation, Trocknung, Extraktion und Membranenseparationen

- Contents
- This course is an introduction to separation technology. It includes the basic knowledge of rectification, absorption, adsorption, chromatography, drying, extraction, membrane science, and crystallization processes. For each separation process the physico-chemical basis, calculation steps, technical equipment and some industrial examples are given.
The exercises will give an introduction into the practical apparatus design for exemplarily chosen separation processes. There is a possibility to do voluntary homework which is corrected by the research assistant.
