- Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches
- Recommended for students in their third or fourth semester. Successful completion of elementary courses in economics such as Mikroökonomie (Microeconomics) and Makroökonomie (Macroeconomics) is expected.
- Inhalt
- The seminar focuses on selected current topics in the area of economic policy in the EU, such as causes and consequences of the Brexit, the reform of the EU Budget, the Euro Crisis or the EU’s involvement in trade agreements (e.g., CETA). Each seminar participant will write a seminar thesis that describes a specific issue in the subject area and uses economic principles to discuss potential solutions. The seminar itself consists of presentations and structured discussions in the class room:
