- Inhalt
- The main focus in the lecture is on gaining a basic understanding of data mining and machine learning methods. It is, thus, appropriate for students with no previous knowledge on the topic. Specifically, we teach Artificial Neural Networks, Decision Trees, Support Vector Machines and Association Rules. There is an exercise on which students work during the semester and apply the machine learning methods on a dataset in the tool RapidMiner. There will also be quizzes related to the lecture and exercise content.
