- This research seminar is a gathering of graduate, post-graduate and post-doctoral scholars of the Center for Iraq Studies (www.cis.uni-erlangen.de) for presentation and discussion of current graduation theses and research projects on Iraqi economy mostly in an international perspective. Research methods and practical issues of writing theses and research proposals are mostly the focus of discussions. Master students of DEIS and NOS are welcome to attend this course. They are expected, however, to present an original paper of 15 pages on a topic of their choice related to the Iraqi economy.
