- Inhalt
- This seminar is meant as an introduction to the brilliant Irish playwright, critic and essayist George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950). We will focus on some of his most successful plays and examine, amongst other things, the literary contexts, social and political background, and Shaw's huge influence on 20th century British theatre. All students are required to do an oral presentation.
